"First's"

Whoa... time out. Life has been all about football and soccer. The boys both had their first game last week. Cade had his on Thursday and Carson on Saturday. Cade is playing flag football and Carson is playing soccer. It is alot of running for Mom and Dad, but I enjoy watching my boys playing sports. I hope that they always like to play.

Cade is #15 and they deceided to put their first name on the back of the shirts instead of last names.

This was a week of First's for Cade

On Monday Robby came home from work, him and Cade worked on riding his bike with out training wheels. There are not alot of places to ride bikes around here. So he will have to learn the hard way, in the grass.

He also lost his front tooth yesterday, by way of a string and door!!! He is such a brave little man. It would have to happen now... school pictures are tommrow.

Thrill Seekers

Over the weekend we went to Cedar Point. They have some new rides that really push the limits. Honda had their annual event there, so Dad and Mom went plus they bought tickets for Heidi and Bo. We had a really nice day, not to hot and there was a breeze coming over the lake. I spent the day with the boys, Mom, and Heidi. We stayed in Snoopy's Camp or Kiddy Land, which were on opposite ends of the park go figure. Robby bounced from there and riding rides with some of his friends and Kevin. I even played babysitter a few times so that some of our friends could ride the rides. All in all it was a pretty good day. Cade even rode some of the bigger rides, which surprised me he is not a thrill seeker like Carson is. Bo even wanted to ride some of the big boy rides. Heidi said that she is not taking him back up until he is old enough to ride all the rides....

We all rode the Farris Wheel so I got some great shots of the park. The last time that I was at Cedar Point, I went with Jess in High School. He is a thrill seeker and we had to ride all the rides. I was scared to death when we rode the Magnum which at the time was the biggest ride in the park. I can't even imagine riding some the rides they have now. The new roller coaster Millennium Force makes the Magnum look like nothing. Plus they have one that goes from 0 to 120 miles per hour in a matter of seconds. I was content to stay with the boys.

These pictures are for you Jess... I thought of you when I saw the difference in size between the Magnum and Millennium Force.

These are some pictures from the day....

Maybe the Maier family will come to Ohio and we will all go to Cedar Point... You guys are do for a visit. I got really good news over the weekend though. Aunt Marilyn is coming to Ohio with Uncle Steve. I can't wait.... See you Aunt Marilyn when you get here. We love you too Uncle Steve, but Aunt Marilyn is more fun!!!

The longest 5 minutes....

This weekend has been pretty busy. We went bowling on Saturday. Robby was working with me on using some new techniques. So needless to say I didn't bowl very good. I average about 140, but I didn't on Saturday. The boys bowled pretty good too. Cade can throw it down the lane. Carson had a couple of strikes... he got to throw the ball about 4 times I think. We stopped by to see my Mom afterward and the boys ended up staying with her.

I have to tell this story just because I think that it is so funny and it is something that would only happen to my sister.... My Dad went to Shelby on Saturday so before coming home he stopped at her house. While we were at my Mom's, she got a call from Heidi.. The only part I heard through the phone quite clear was "You could have warned me." Heidi had a bunch of girls over and was having a party (not a home interior party either....) !!!!! I can just see her face when my Dad walked in the door.

Mom and Dad came over this morning and we went to Johnstown for their big flea market. I didn't find anything that I couldn't live with out but the of course the boys did. I also got the scare of my life. I can't even describe the panic I felt. We were looking at charms for Heidi's bracelet and we were almost done and we looked up there was Cade and no Carson. I went up the rest of isle and down the next isle and no Carson. I was going into panic mode. Where was my son and what if I couldn't find him. All these what if's kept going through my mind. This place was so big how was I ever going to find him. Then I heard over the speaker. "We have a Carson Michael here and he says his Mommy is lost." My heart broke and the tears that I was trying to contain just started flowing. I ran to the office. I couldn't even tell you what anyone in the office looked like. I just saw my son and scooped him up into my arms. He didn't go very far for the rest of the day.

and So it Goes...

This week has gone by so fast. Where does the time go. I had a photography meeting in the morning and before I new it I had to pick Cade up at school. I got a whole lot of nothing done today. Went to practice or should I say the kick, punt, and pass contest for Cade's football team. There went my evening. Robby went bowling. I am hoping to get somethings done this weekend. My house needs alittle TLC.... but when doesn't it lately. I get tired of cleaning all day and then the boys are home for an hour and it is a mess all over again. I get tired of yelling at the boys all day to pick up their toys. When does it ever end.... I guess that is the life of a "Mom."
I don't watch much TV lately, but I caught a preview of a good movie that I want to see that is coming out. "The Women".. it looks good. My kind of movie not Robby's. So I will sent Robby with the boys to see something and I will go see this movie.

Another movie that I would like to see is Night in Rodanth. It has Diane Lane and Richard Gere. I saw previews for it when I went and saw Sex in the City. It comes out October 3.

First Day of School

Yesterday was Cade's 1st day of 2nd grade... He had pancakes for breakfast and thank goodness because he needed the energy. He had to run all the way to the bus. The schedule said 8:13 and the bus came at 8:03. He had a full book bag too. So you can say that the 2nd grade started out with a bang!

Carson and I went into Mechanicburg to the post office. We ended up going to the library. Where we good two books on pumpkins (Carson's selections) and I got Cade a Dr.Suess book and James and the Gaint Peach for me and him to read at night before bed. I of course got a book on Photography... I am always looking for new ideas.

Got home and to work I went... I had two seniors that I needed to finish editing.

Cade didn't get off the bus until after 5:00... Way to late we will see how late he is today. We only live 10 minutes if that from the school. He was happy and says that he loves 2nd grade. So I would say that is a good sign.

Took pictures of my pumpkins... I am so excited they are growing. I planted a green pumpkin, cinderella pumpkins, and apple guords. I haven't seen any sign of the guords yet but I have two green pumpkins, one cinderella pumpkin, and tons of blooms. We will see!!!

Had to take Ace to the vet today to have his leg looked at and his vacinations. I would say it went rather well. He weighed 86 pounds last time and now weighed in at 93 pounds ouch! Went to Mom and Dad's for a while since I was in Bellefontaine. Then headed home... the boys have soccer and football practice today and I am probably going to open house at the school and get some work done while I have the Mom time.

Cade Austin "7"

I still can't believe that Cade turned 7 and is getting ready to go in the 2nd grade. The new school year starts Monday.

Cade was born August 1, 2001
He weighed 9lbs. 10oz. 21 1/2 inches long.

Cade at Heidi's wedding in August of 2002

My Dad's hat that always seem to make it into all my pictures!!!!

My Little boy is growing up.. Sunday we had a Mom and Cade Day.... I let him pick out the clothes that he wanted. He is into playing Rock Band and Guitar Hero. He amazes me on how well he plays. He is into the skate board type shoes. I tried to talk him out of them and get a regular pair of tennis shoes, but they are what he wanted.

"He is a boy all his own."

Last Week......

Yes I know that I am alittle bit behind... There just doesn't seem to be enough time in the day. Last Monday I had a senior photo shoot, Tuesday Cade had flag football practice, Wednesday I had to work, Thursday I had another senior photo shoot and Cade had practice again, Friday work again. Where did the week go........ Saturday Robby had a golf outing and Derick, Kayreen, and Kaylin came down for that. The boys went golfing and the Girls went shopping. Kayreen and I took Cade to Tim's house, and then went to Tuttle Mall. Cade went with his baseball coach and the team to a Columbus Clippers baseball game. He didn't get home until midnight, but had a good time.

Kaylin has grown so much... She is going to be 2 in September. It is hard to believe. She took alittle bit to warm up to us and Ace scared her with is big cone on his head. The boys did great with her... she says the cutiest things. She tells Kayreen and Derick "hold you" when she wants to be picked up. She doesn't go very far some Mom's side.

Sunday was a day of relaxing for the boys... Cade and I went school shopping. We had a Cade and Mommy Day. He has his own taste in everything. I took pictures but I want him to have his own entry, so it will be next.

This week has been alittle less crazy... Tuesday Cade had practice and we went bowling. Wednesday was practice and Mom came and took the boys home with her. They where going to Aunt Heidi's to get hair cuts and spent the day with Bo...
