A Week of Work

My week of working all week is over. I was exhausted on Friday. I didn't think I was going to make it. Actually Thursday was worse than Friday. It is the getting up in the morning when you don't go to bed until 11 or 12 o'clock at night. Not good .... but it is life at the Manley's.

Cade's team had its 1st two tournament games today. They won both of them. I thought we were going to get rained out, but the 2nd game was all sun shine. Mike and Grandma Willy came down for the games. They are staying tommrow too. The boys both love it when they come down. Grandma Willy seems to always keep Carson entertained. He loves his Grandma Willy. Cade likes to have someone to sleep with. He is always trying to sleep with me and Robby. We call is musical beds at our house!!! Well I am off to bed. I worked my weddings for my photography business... good girl. They are turning out really well.

Grandma Willy came down for Memorial Day and I took this picture.

Work Week

The week before shutdown my teamleader asked if I wanted to work the week after shutdown, of course I said yes. Boy does it wear me out working everyday. Plus trying to keep up with my house. I will be glad when this week is over, but if they asked me to work another week of course I would. It grows on you after awhile. I thought it would be a good idea to work it will pay for our vacation/ Cade's birthday to Kings Island. We are taking the boys and two of their friends to Kings Island for the weekend. I think that it will be alot of fun. The boys haven't stopped talking about it. Plus they are excited that Drew and Tate get to go with them. They played on our T-ball team and the boys hit it off right away with them. They were excited to play ball just so they could go see Drew and Tate.

Well I am off to my Mom's for the night. She is going to watch the boys for me while I work tomorrow. It is alot easier just to go stay with her. It helps with all the driving for her.

I wanted to include this picture. Cade took this with Mom's camera. It not really in focus but it is a cute picture.

A Trip to the Campers

What a last two days... We left yesterday about noon and got back home around 8:00pm today. My mom came over and we headed to the campers we have in Warsaw. It is a little town outside of Mount Vernon. It is about a 2hr. drive for us. Our campers down there keep getting flooded so we went once again to clean out one camper and move to the next. I hope we don't get flooded again, but we are right on the river. We have gotten a lot of rain this year. I have had about enough. We spent the afternoon cleaning the campers out and then we went down to the river. There really wasn't a good place to get in, but we found a place that had a bank but is was muddy needless to say. My mom went in first to see how deep it was and slipped and got her backside wet. It was quite funny.... the boys went in after that. I stayed on the bank.. I figured one of us should stay dry!!! We went back up to the campers and got cleaned up and headed for my sisters in Crestline... 1hr and 1/2 away. On the Road Again....

Today we got up to a wet and rainy day. We ran to Mansfield, and then to see Grandma Sally. She keeps an eye out for me and picks up old hats and props for my photography business. We visited her for a while.. It is nice to sit and talk about things that happened in the past. Things my Mom and her brothers did as a kids and hear about my Grandpa Maier. My Grandma Sally is in her 80's, which is hard to think of.. she still lives on her own and is very much an independent person. I hope I have that much energy when I am that age.

We went back to Heidi's to wait for her to get off work. Her cat Noel was due to have her kittens any day. Well today was the day, before we left there was 4 kittens. There were two black and white ones, one gray, and one black.

Almost July

Boy has this month been busy... I barely have time to stop and think. We are done with T-ball. Our last game was suppose to be yesterday (Wednesday) but it got rained out. We got some pretty good storms yesterday.. thunder and lightning. We deceided to have a party for our

T-ball kids, pizza and water balloons at our house. I am excited.. the benefits of being a photographer... I ordered the kids magazine covers with their picture on the cover and I am in the process of making certificates for each of them too. I am so proud of all of them for the improvement and hard work they have showed. We had a great group of kids. I have learned that I get to keep the ones that are not moving up. GOOD!!!

Tommrow is my last day of work, and then we start July shutdown. I need to make myself a list of things I need (NOT WANT) to get done... My house needs some major TLC. Plus I have two weddings to edit and get on the webpage. Can I get it all done?? I will if I get off my lazy butt. I think alot about getting fit and eating right.. it seems like the more I think about it the worse I get. I tell myself Carey don't eat that brownie or don't drink that Pepsi and some how I justify eating it or drinking it and feel guilty later. I have been walking on the treadmill. I enjoy doing it and feel great afterwards, but alot of time I find that I am talking myself out of doing it. I have bought a couple of fitness magazines hoping that they will get me in the mood. I don't like how I look and alot of my pants don't fit like I want them too. I wonder what it is going to take to get me there. I tell myself keep at it and work on it something will click... Well I am off to get some stuff done. Robby is golfing so I have alittle bit before he comes home.

Days come and GO....

I have tried to come down and work on my blog.. but do you think that I have made it down here... No. We have been so busy. As I sit here typing this I am think of all the things that I have to do. Somethings I want to do others I have been putting off. I have my last wedding this weekend. We leave this afternoon. I took off work today, which I feel guilty about. I don't like to miss work. I was really nervous about this last wedding. It went well though. I even got the last weddings pictures posted on time.

We had games Monday, Wednesday, and Thursday this week. The kids where defenitly ready to be done. They all did very well though. We only have a few that want to play in the dirt.. and one of them is mine.. Carson. They are just 4 and 5 years old the ones that play in the dirt, so they are still young and get bored easily. We have a few talking as well... Drew and Tate are the social butterfies of the team. They have to talk to everyone that gets on the base. They are both very good ball players. Then there is Cody... I never know what he is going to say next... good luck to his kindergarden teacher!!! We have a few quite ones... Tater and Hunter. We also have a drama queen Hailey... all girl. We have a really good team this year. I am hoping since I am getting talked into coaching next year that I get the same players.

Over the weekend.. I finally made it to the movies to see Sex in the City... great Chic Flick. I went up to my sisters on Friday and her and I went to see the 10:15pm. Great movie.. but my word it cost me $3.75 for a small diet coke and another $5.25 for a medium popcorn. That is crazy, they have bumped their heads. Don't even get me into the price of things.. that is a whole other story. Anyway... Sex in the City. Great movie, but I would have liked to see more for Samantha's character. They should have had her break up with Smith in the middle of the movie and gave her some fun. I will defiently get the movie on DVD. It makes me want to rent the rest of the series to watch again. I just might do that too. I am going to have two wedding to edit.

I took some pictures of my Lillies that are blooming right now. I took them on Monday. I didn't think that they were ever going to bloom. They got really tall and I didn't think anything was going to happen. I think that they are really late but maybe not.

Life Goes On

I can't believe that it as been almost a year since I have posted anything on my blog. So much has changed since I have started this. I am going to try and be better about keeping up with this. I view Sara's blog all the time as a treat or a break from my work. I always enjoy hearing about their life and her's. I view Aunt Marilyn's too.

I have been really busy lately. I photographed my first wedding in May. I wasn't as nervous as I thought that I would be. I wanted to have all the proofs completed by this weekend. I have my second wedding then. I have photographed a few babies in between. I am hoping to finish up my weddings in July and get started on my Seniors.

Robby and I are coaching Cade and Carson's little league team. We are orange. We have quite a team. The kids all seems to have a want to play baseball so that is good. I am so proud of all of them, they are trying so hard.

I am going to miss all the games this week. One of my Dad's best friends was killed on a motorcycle over the weekend. It breaks my heart to think of his kids with no Dad or Mom. They are older. The oldest Erik graduated last year and his daughter Courtney graduates this year. Still I can't image life with out my Dad and Mom. My heart goes out to them. I am leaving Friday for back home for the wedding that I am photographing. So I will miss both games on Friday and Saturday. I did get to go to Cade's game tonight. He was asked to fill in for the league above T-ball and he played last Saturday and again tonight. He is doing really well and really likes it.
