New Baby

I went to the doctor on Friday. The day couldn't come fast enough or be over soon enough. We waited forever in the waiting room and then in the exam room. My doctor, Dr. Melillo just came in and started the exam. I always have an ultrasound my first exam. It went really well. The baby moved its head up and down and we heard the heartbeat. It relaxed me alittle hearing and seeing that the baby is alright. I will definitely feel better after my next visit. I will have another ultrasound then. My doctor is the best, he actually cares about his patience's. He makes all my visits go some much easier.

The baby is due October 6th. I will have a planned c-section. We haven't set a date for that yet, when it gets closer. We are not finding out what the baby is. I want to be surprised this time. Just for you Aunt Marilyn I am going to take an envelope with me for him to write the sex of the baby. I am going to mail it directly to you. You can't tell.... for your eyes only!

This weekend was Bo's birthday. He turned 4 on February 25th. We stayed at a hotel in Mansfield. He wanted to swim! It was just us and Bobby's brother and his family. We all had a good time. Robby had to stay home. He is vice president of the baseball league this year and there was baseball sign ups.

The boys and I also stopped in to see Mamaw. She is always happy to see Cade. He loves his Mamaw. She wasn't feeling very good. I think to much was going on, and alot of visitors. It is always good to see her. We don't make it into town very often. I hope this summer we find more time to get into town. Daddypa is doing well... he is really happy now. Dad bought an old Ford truck for them to fix up. I have lost count of how many old cars my Dad has now. Needless to say my Mom has said NO MORE.... she is about to come unglued. I think he was calm it down after this. The truck will take him some time to fix up. When I get a chance I will post some pictures. I want to take the boys to the park and get some pictures this summer.

This week I need to get myself motivated, which is hard to do lately! I need to just clean.. my house never seems to stay that way. The boys and I mean all the boys seem to mess as I pick up. My kitchen is like the dumping ground for everything. It is a rare occasion that I can even see my kitchen table!

I can't believe it has been since November since I last posted. Boy, does time fly! We are almost at the end of February. I have a feeling March is going to fly too. We have something going on almost every weekend. I am ready for "Spring" here in Ohio. We have had snow and cold for the last couple of weeks and I am so... done with this weather. I am ready for spring and to get in my garden and just be outside.

Just a little update...
Thanksgiving was really good. Everyone came to my house for Thanksgiving. Every year I come up with a new way to fix sweet potatoes. This year I made twice baked sweet potatoes. They were really good.

We started a new tradition at the Manley house for Christmas Eve, we attended Church. Christmas was spent at Heidi's. Bobby and her fixed everything. Because of course I forgot my stuff on the table at home. It never fails I always forget something! My mom did fix some desserts. She made the best grape pie. She made it with grapes from Grandpa Maier's vine.

We spent the New Year at Mom's with Lasagna and Sauage and Saukraut what a combination but it was really good. We had the Mahon Christmas at the Church hall. Everyone was there, Mamma and Daddypa were both able to be there this year. Not everyone was there, Wesley and his family did not come. It really upset Aunt Helen and Mamma, but if that is the way he wants to be.

The story with Wesley is long and hard to explain. I haven't seen or spoken to him in more than a year. In order to deal with the situation I let it eat at me for a whole year. After the year Robby and I have had I just couldn't do it anymore. I turned to God and he has helped me through alot of this. I have forgiven Wes and I realize things with him will probably never be the same but if I meet God tommrow I want to look at him and say that I do not have a heavy heart because I was unwilling to forgive. One day I hope that Wesley will be willing to forgive, I pray for him. Robby, the boys, and I attend Church every Sunday now. It has helped with our relationship and with our life in general.

August, Kayreen Mahon ( Derick's wife), to soon to tell, but I think they are finding out too. They have a little girl, Kaylin.

2 of our family friends are due to have babies this year too.


Message to Aunt Marilyn and Sara:
This would be a great year for a "girl" trip to Ohio. We would love to see you!

My little boy is 5 years old today. We had a good day. We picked up his cake and ate at McDonald's. You think they would get tired of McDonald's but they never do. After picking Cade up at school, we came home and he got to open up his presents and eat his Backyardigan's cake. He of course ended the day with a bath. Him and Cade stayed in the tub forever. They were playing with his new Wonder Pets bath toys. I found them both in Cade's bed sound asleep with their toys all over the bed. Sleep tight my baby boys...

One More Day....

Carson's Birthday last year #4 was really small... Just Us, Mom, and Dad. We had cake and presents at Dad and Mom's house. Robby and I took Carson shopping and let him pick out a few things. We try not to make a big deal out of Birthday's, we keep it to just family.
Today Cade and I ran to Walmart to finish birthday shopping for Carson and met my Mom for supper and to pick up Carson. Tomorrow is B-Day and I still have a few things to get. I need to call Walmart and order a cake and wrap the presents Cade and I bought today.

Count Down

I thought that I would do a count til Carson turns 5... My little boy is growing up. Sometimes I just want to cry when I think of my little boys not being little anymore. It actually brings tears sometimes. I can already see changes in him just the few days a week that he has gone to day care while I have been working. Which by the way I am done with for now. I was ready maybe now life can come to order again. He seems more grown up. He has already learned so much. He is learning how to write his letters and numbers. He has brought home some of the cutest projects. We went shopping for his birthday tonight. Robby is going out of town for the rest of the week hunting, so we decided to get him some birthday stuff tonight. I will probably get him a few things to open on his birthday Thursday. We are headed to Chuck E. Cheese on Saturday with Heidi, Bo and some friends. Hopefully Robby will make it back in time to go with us. So Mr. Carson has quite a week ahead of him. Carson's 1st Birthday.... All he wanted was Papa. So Papa got just as much cake on him as Carson did.

The 2nd Birthday want alot better ... We did the whole train theme. The boys where going threw these pictures with me and we watched a video of Carson and the cake. It brought tears...

Carson's 3rd Birthday was a Wonder Pets theme. Boy.... did I have a hard time getting this cake made. It was before the Wonder Pets became popular.

Time for an UpDate!!!

It has been quite a while since I have done this.. I keep thinking that I should but there never seems to be enough time. I am still working as many days as I can at Honda. I am so exhausted after working there all day and trying to keep up with everything else. I am came home Friday and my house was a disaster. I couldn't even see my kitchen table. The dishes where out of control and the laundry was stacked to the ceiling. I should have taken pictures because I am not kinding. It is now Tuesday and I finally have things under control... until I go back to work Wednesday, Thursday, and Friday.

Cade finished Football a couple of weeks ago and Carson finished his last Soccer game on Saturday. It was freezing. We drove to Shelby for Trick or Treat. We went with Heidi, Bobby, and Bo. Whittney her husband and little girl went with us too. It was only an hour but the boys got plenty of candy. Now I don't have to here about buying a costume every time we go to Walmart... Now its Carson's birthday in a couple of weeks and Christmas is coming soon, so its can we LOOK at toys.

A couple of weeks ago we where grilling out pork chops and Robby yelled for us to come out and look. In the pasture behind our house were 4 deer, all does. It has been a while since we have seen deer behind our house we use to see them all the time when we first moved out here. Not anymore, I think because behind us there use to be just a few houses and now there are quite a few.

I still don't have my car back, it will probably be the first week in November. I think it was around the 14th of October, Carson and I where pulling into the drive way and a car hit us from behind. Our house is right after a curve and the kid, 18 years old, looked away for a minute and didn't see us and bam hit us. I actually looked into my rear view mirror for some reason and had enough time to react. Instead of going into the creek I was able to turn the wheel and stay in the yard. My bumper was completely gone, we found my extra tire in the creek after the body shop called and asked us about it. The whole front end of the kids car was gone. No one was hurt thank goodness. I was really sore my neck killed me for 3 days. I has ice on it every night. I think that is what saved me. I am definitely a more defensive driver now. Carson is even better about listening to directions while in the car. I don't have to ask him twice about his seatbelt or tell him not to take it off before the car stops. He is actually telling everyone else while we are in the car and explained what happened to us. So for now I am driving a Toyota Highlander.

So right now life has been about work and more work. I am thinking that this Honda thing isn't going to last much longer. We just got two new people in the area so when their trained I think that the extra days will end. Only time will tell. Maybe then I will get caught back up on all the things around my house. I will be able to enjoy Christmas decorating since I didn't fall decorating like I usually do. I might get to finish all the little projects that I want to get done.
