Cade Austin "7"

I still can't believe that Cade turned 7 and is getting ready to go in the 2nd grade. The new school year starts Monday.

Cade was born August 1, 2001
He weighed 9lbs. 10oz. 21 1/2 inches long.

My Dad's hat that always seem to make it into all my pictures!!!!

My Little boy is growing up.. Sunday we had a Mom and Cade Day.... I let him pick out the clothes that he wanted. He is into playing Rock Band and Guitar Hero. He amazes me on how well he plays. He is into the skate board type shoes. I tried to talk him out of them and get a regular pair of tennis shoes, but they are what he wanted.

"He is a boy all his own."

Last Week......

Yes I know that I am alittle bit behind... There just doesn't seem to be enough time in the day. Last Monday I had a senior photo shoot, Tuesday Cade had flag football practice, Wednesday I had to work, Thursday I had another senior photo shoot and Cade had practice again, Friday work again. Where did the week go........ Saturday Robby had a golf outing and Derick, Kayreen, and Kaylin came down for that. The boys went golfing and the Girls went shopping. Kayreen and I took Cade to Tim's house, and then went to Tuttle Mall. Cade went with his baseball coach and the team to a Columbus Clippers baseball game. He didn't get home until midnight, but had a good time.

Kaylin has grown so much... She is going to be 2 in September. It is hard to believe. She took alittle bit to warm up to us and Ace scared her with is big cone on his head. The boys did great with her... she says the cutiest things. She tells Kayreen and Derick "hold you" when she wants to be picked up. She doesn't go very far some Mom's side.

Sunday was a day of relaxing for the boys... Cade and I went school shopping. We had a Cade and Mommy Day. He has his own taste in everything. I took pictures but I want him to have his own entry, so it will be next.

This week has been alittle less crazy... Tuesday Cade had practice and we went bowling. Wednesday was practice and Mom came and took the boys home with her. They where going to Aunt Heidi's to get hair cuts and spent the day with Bo...

Whoo has life been crazzy!!

It has been a while since I have written and alot has happened. I not even sure where to begin...

I planned for a month for a surprise Birthday party for Robby... It didn't turn out as well as I would have liked, but he was surprised and had a good time. Uncle Julis came down and brought his whole setup.. camper , dog... the Julis way. Robby's Dad came down and his whole bunch. Jermey and Beth Utz and their family came down. I was glad to see them it has been a while. Everyone played corn hole and we had a fire (Robby started it with gas) and Mike brought fireworks. Last minute I had a lady make Robby a boob cake.. that is the one thing he asked for.

Heidi won a trip at work so when she was down for Robby's party she left Bo with my Mom. My Mom ended up taking all the boys home with her. I drove over on Monday and we went to Indian Lake for the afternoon. The boys still didn't want to come home with me so that stayed at Nana and Papa's house again... We signed Cade up for flag football and his practices started on Tuesday. We went and had ice cream and they still went home with Nana... I had to work on Wednesday anyway. Mom had to go back to work on Wednesday afternoon so all the boys came to house and stayed. Mom came back on Thursday morning and took Bo back to Heidi. She was ready for him to come home.

Friday August 1... Happy Birthday Cade 7 years old. My baby is growing up. Robby took the day off, had breakfast with my Mom and Dad, and took the boys golfing. When I got home we went to Red Lobster for his birthday.
Saturday, We went to KingsIsland... We told them that they could take a friend. Drew and Tate from the T-ball team went with us and their Mom and Dad, Rori and Josh. We spent the day at KingsIsland and then got a Hotel for the night. It was a long day but we all had a good time.

The week of August 4-8th, This week was pretty quiet for the most part. We went to the fair on Monday... probably never again. It is way over priced and the food is not that great anymore. Robby's brother Kevin moved in with us. We are going to try and help him get back on his feet. We are here for support he has to do the rest for himself. Cade wasn't feeling well on Tuesday he tried to practice, but he just was not up to it. We went bowling afterwards.. league starts here in a few weeks. I can actually say that I missed it. Friday started out with a bang.. Ace's leg looked like it had been through a meat grinder. It was instant tears ... so I put some stuff on it (even though I new that he would lick it off) and headed to work. I called Mom at lunch so that she could call the vet for an appointment. Called Mom after work.. they couldn't get me in for another week... that was not going to work. So I called and told them I would be in as an emergency patient. Stopped at home long enough to get Ace and off we went. He now has a cone on his head and three different medicines he has to take. We have alot of work ahead of us.

Today is Monday another week ahead of me......................

A Week of Work

My week of working all week is over. I was exhausted on Friday. I didn't think I was going to make it. Actually Thursday was worse than Friday. It is the getting up in the morning when you don't go to bed until 11 or 12 o'clock at night. Not good .... but it is life at the Manley's.

Cade's team had its 1st two tournament games today. They won both of them. I thought we were going to get rained out, but the 2nd game was all sun shine. Mike and Grandma Willy came down for the games. They are staying tommrow too. The boys both love it when they come down. Grandma Willy seems to always keep Carson entertained. He loves his Grandma Willy. Cade likes to have someone to sleep with. He is always trying to sleep with me and Robby. We call is musical beds at our house!!! Well I am off to bed. I worked my weddings for my photography business... good girl. They are turning out really well.

Grandma Willy came down for Memorial Day and I took this picture.

Work Week

The week before shutdown my teamleader asked if I wanted to work the week after shutdown, of course I said yes. Boy does it wear me out working everyday. Plus trying to keep up with my house. I will be glad when this week is over, but if they asked me to work another week of course I would. It grows on you after awhile. I thought it would be a good idea to work it will pay for our vacation/ Cade's birthday to Kings Island. We are taking the boys and two of their friends to Kings Island for the weekend. I think that it will be alot of fun. The boys haven't stopped talking about it. Plus they are excited that Drew and Tate get to go with them. They played on our T-ball team and the boys hit it off right away with them. They were excited to play ball just so they could go see Drew and Tate.

Well I am off to my Mom's for the night. She is going to watch the boys for me while I work tomorrow. It is alot easier just to go stay with her. It helps with all the driving for her.

I wanted to include this picture. Cade took this with Mom's camera. It not really in focus but it is a cute picture.

A Trip to the Campers

What a last two days... We left yesterday about noon and got back home around 8:00pm today. My mom came over and we headed to the campers we have in Warsaw. It is a little town outside of Mount Vernon. It is about a 2hr. drive for us. Our campers down there keep getting flooded so we went once again to clean out one camper and move to the next. I hope we don't get flooded again, but we are right on the river. We have gotten a lot of rain this year. I have had about enough. We spent the afternoon cleaning the campers out and then we went down to the river. There really wasn't a good place to get in, but we found a place that had a bank but is was muddy needless to say. My mom went in first to see how deep it was and slipped and got her backside wet. It was quite funny.... the boys went in after that. I stayed on the bank.. I figured one of us should stay dry!!! We went back up to the campers and got cleaned up and headed for my sisters in Crestline... 1hr and 1/2 away. On the Road Again....

Today we got up to a wet and rainy day. We ran to Mansfield, and then to see Grandma Sally. She keeps an eye out for me and picks up old hats and props for my photography business. We visited her for a while.. It is nice to sit and talk about things that happened in the past. Things my Mom and her brothers did as a kids and hear about my Grandpa Maier. My Grandma Sally is in her 80's, which is hard to think of.. she still lives on her own and is very much an independent person. I hope I have that much energy when I am that age.

We went back to Heidi's to wait for her to get off work. Her cat Noel was due to have her kittens any day. Well today was the day, before we left there was 4 kittens. There were two black and white ones, one gray, and one black.
