A Week of Work

My week of working all week is over. I was exhausted on Friday. I didn't think I was going to make it. Actually Thursday was worse than Friday. It is the getting up in the morning when you don't go to bed until 11 or 12 o'clock at night. Not good .... but it is life at the Manley's.

Cade's team had its 1st two tournament games today. They won both of them. I thought we were going to get rained out, but the 2nd game was all sun shine. Mike and Grandma Willy came down for the games. They are staying tommrow too. The boys both love it when they come down. Grandma Willy seems to always keep Carson entertained. He loves his Grandma Willy. Cade likes to have someone to sleep with. He is always trying to sleep with me and Robby. We call is musical beds at our house!!! Well I am off to bed. I worked my weddings for my photography business... good girl. They are turning out really well.

Grandma Willy came down for Memorial Day and I took this picture.

Work Week

The week before shutdown my teamleader asked if I wanted to work the week after shutdown, of course I said yes. Boy does it wear me out working everyday. Plus trying to keep up with my house. I will be glad when this week is over, but if they asked me to work another week of course I would. It grows on you after awhile. I thought it would be a good idea to work it will pay for our vacation/ Cade's birthday to Kings Island. We are taking the boys and two of their friends to Kings Island for the weekend. I think that it will be alot of fun. The boys haven't stopped talking about it. Plus they are excited that Drew and Tate get to go with them. They played on our T-ball team and the boys hit it off right away with them. They were excited to play ball just so they could go see Drew and Tate.

Well I am off to my Mom's for the night. She is going to watch the boys for me while I work tomorrow. It is alot easier just to go stay with her. It helps with all the driving for her.

I wanted to include this picture. Cade took this with Mom's camera. It not really in focus but it is a cute picture.

A Trip to the Campers

What a last two days... We left yesterday about noon and got back home around 8:00pm today. My mom came over and we headed to the campers we have in Warsaw. It is a little town outside of Mount Vernon. It is about a 2hr. drive for us. Our campers down there keep getting flooded so we went once again to clean out one camper and move to the next. I hope we don't get flooded again, but we are right on the river. We have gotten a lot of rain this year. I have had about enough. We spent the afternoon cleaning the campers out and then we went down to the river. There really wasn't a good place to get in, but we found a place that had a bank but is was muddy needless to say. My mom went in first to see how deep it was and slipped and got her backside wet. It was quite funny.... the boys went in after that. I stayed on the bank.. I figured one of us should stay dry!!! We went back up to the campers and got cleaned up and headed for my sisters in Crestline... 1hr and 1/2 away. On the Road Again....

Today we got up to a wet and rainy day. We ran to Mansfield, and then to see Grandma Sally. She keeps an eye out for me and picks up old hats and props for my photography business. We visited her for a while.. It is nice to sit and talk about things that happened in the past. Things my Mom and her brothers did as a kids and hear about my Grandpa Maier. My Grandma Sally is in her 80's, which is hard to think of.. she still lives on her own and is very much an independent person. I hope I have that much energy when I am that age.

We went back to Heidi's to wait for her to get off work. Her cat Noel was due to have her kittens any day. Well today was the day, before we left there was 4 kittens. There were two black and white ones, one gray, and one black.
